At Learning Technologies 2015, Mark Aberdour explained how attendees could solve their platforms crisis in a well-attended seminar. Now, by popular demand, Mark will be running the session as a webinar on 16th April from 3-4pm.
With a massive one third of LMS customers unhappy with their choice of product, it is clear that something needs to change. This platforms webinar will help you find out how to get the best out of your LMS. LMSs are often a significant investment, and you may not have the budget for a total overhaul or a new product, but there may be some smaller improvements which will have an important impact on the overall success of your platform.
Selecting the right product can be tricky when there is such a huge array of platforms available, from off-the-shelf products to entirely custom builds. And once you have decided between Moodle, Drupal, Sharepoint, WordPress and all the other options available, how do you then know exactly which features you need? This will be covered in detail in the webinar to ensure you don’t waste money on a product which does not suit your requirements.
Every organisation has a unique IT infrastructure, which means that what works for one company may not work for yours. But gathering technical requirements to assess your current setup is not necessarily an easy task, especially when you need to consider future changes in the system. Mark will explain how to do this as quickly and easily as possible.
Just 33% of organisations included in the Towards Maturity Benchmark Report 2014-15 were using the learning analytics from their platform to create more efficient and effective learning environments, while over half of the top learning organisations do so. Platforms can provide L&D teams with a wealth of valuable data to support a business case and provide evidence for the success of a learning programme, and this session will show you how to achieve success with learning analytics.
LEO Learning has helped more than 100 global organisations achieve success with their learning platforms, giving us a wealth of experience spanning many years, which we will cover in our webinar. In April 2015, platforms expert Mark Aberdour hosted a webinar to explore the ins and outs of product selection, how to get the best from your LMS and a guide to successful implementation.
