This may be by filling in forms on our website, filling in our contact forms at events, providing us with your business card or contact details, providing us with your information in registering to use our client support tools, and/or or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. Where we store your personal data and how long for
Our website is hosted on servers located in the UK and support being provided from the UK and the US. Any personal information that we collect from you is input directly into our Salesforce database, which is hosted and supported in the European Economic Area (EEA), and our Pardot database, which is hosted and supported in the US. For individuals based in the EEA, this means that the data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored outside the EEA. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us. LEO Learning and LEO GRC (formerly Eukleia) has signed EU Model Clauses with our relevant group companies and with Pardot, which means that such transfers would be lawful transfers of personal data outside the EEA, in accordance with EU Data Protection legislation.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is almost never completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the complete security of your data transmitted to our site or otherwise gathered by us; any transmission and supply of personal data to us is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.
We will keep a copy of any personal data obtained from you through our site or otherwise for as long as we believe is reasonably required, or such longer period as may be required for legal, audit and compliance purposes. Art. 27 GDPR – EU representative
All LEO Learning and LEO GRC (formerly Eukleia) entities based outside of EEA have, to the extent the GDPR is applicable to them in regard to any data processing performed by them, appointed Learning Technologies Group (UK) Limited trading as Leo Learning, (with address details as stated above) to act as their designated representative within the EEA for the purposes of Art. 27 of the GDPR. Learning Technologies Group (UK) Limited trading as Leo Learning and LEO GRC (formerly Eukleia) is mandated to be addressed in addition to, or instead of such LEO Learning and LEO GRC (formerly Eukleia) entities based outside the EEA, by supervisory authorities and data subjects with any issues related to our processing of personal data.
COPPA
In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and the GDPR, our Services are not intended to be used by children and we do not knowingly request, solicit, access or receive personal information (as defined in COPPA and the GDPR, as applicable) from anyone under the age of 13 and 16 respectively. Where we are aware that any personal information submitted through our sites or our Services belongs to a child, we will delete this personal information from our records.
Whilst this is not our intention, our Services could be used to collect personal information from children under the age of 16.
